PURPOSE

Everyone is born with a purpose. There can only be misunderstanding of purpose with men but GOD had a perfect plan for man. let even think of an example we have around us, a poultry farmer having problem of controlling birds waste, to him he may felt he has no need of the waste but the waste is an important raw material to a vegetable farmer. every thing in life has its purpose. God intention from the very beginning was to create man in his own image and in his own likeness which was what he did. The bible recorded that everything God created from the beginning was perfect (Genesis 1:31).

When man fell through disobedience in the garden of Eden, Man could not be the image of God anymore although He still has the likeness of God. Man fell short of his abilities, his glory of God. He could not be the way God had already made him anymore. Before he was perfect, but now He could not be perfect, that was why the bible recorded that "for all have sin and have fallen short of the glory of God". We are no longer what God had made us from the very beginning. As a matter of fact, we have lost the record of what man used to be which can only be seen in the life of perfect Adam and not the imperfect fallen Adam.

So the whole of humanity continued in the imperfect fallen state of Adam. We became sinners, always causing offence and guilty of offence. So it is impossible for man to be perfect because of the fall of man. By nature, every man is full of evil because only God is good and perfect and man is no longer perfect. Do you remember when a man  called Jesus a good master? JESUS said that only God is good. God intend to return us to that state He initially created us. For us to return to that state, at least we need to know what that state of man, (a man with an image and likeness of God) look like. So, God sent his son to the world to pay for our sins and to show us what man used to be. A man that has the likeness and image of God. IMAGE means Nature. God in his infinite mercy and grace intend to save the whole of humanity through faith in his only begotten son Jesus Christ who condemned sin in the flesh .

 So we can be who God want us to be by faith in Christ Jesus and by beholding Jesus Christ like a mirror and studying, learning and obeying his commands(Matthew 11:28-31). If you want to know why you are created, you can only know that in Christ Jesus. Every man have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God and the wages of sin is death. The one and only way out of the penalty of sin which is death is to accept the free full payment Christ offers us which He paid for with his own life by shedding his blood on the cross of Calvary for our sin so that we can escape eternal death and have eternal life. For God so love the world, that He gave his only son, for us that whosoever believe in him should not perish but shall have everlasting life.

PRAYER

Lord Jesus, i believe you came to the world to die for my sin, i believe in my heart that God rose you from the dead, i accept you into my life.
